1. General Sales Policy

• Final Sale: All purchases made with Vintage Knows Best are final.

• No Returns or Exchanges: We do not offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind. Please ensure you are satisfied with the item prior to making payment. 

• Condition of Items: All items are curated vintage or pre-owned. By purchasing, the buyer acknowledges that items can show signs of wear due to their age/use. It is the buyer’s responsibility to thoroughly inspect all provided photographs and descriptions prior to purchase. Video viewing appointments are available on request

2. Payment Methods

• Bank Transfer: Our primary and preferred method of payment is via direct Bank Transfer.

• American Express (Amex): We accept Amex payments. Please note that a non-refundable transaction fee is chargeable on the sale for all Amex transactions. This fee will be disclosed at the time of invoice.

3. Authenticity Guarantee

• Professional Inspection: Every item is personally hand-inspected to ensure quality and authenticity.

• Certification: Digital certification from Legit Grails is included as standard for all items priced above £1,000.

• On-Request Authentication: For items below £1,000, a Legit Grails certificate can be provided upon request for an additional fee.

• Counterfeit Protection: In the unlikely event that an item is proven counterfeit by a reputable third-party expert, a full refund will be issued. Any such claim must be raised within 21 days of receipt of the item. The item must be returned to us in its original "as-sold" condition within 5 days of the claim being accepted. We can only accept valid documentation from professional authentication services.

4. Shipping & Liability

• Shipping: All items are sent via tracked and signed-for delivery.

• Liability: Vintage Knows Best is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit once they have been dispatched. For any authorised returns (authenticity claims only), the buyer is responsible for using a secure, tracked postal service. The postal cost on return will be refunded on submission of the receipt.

5. Brand Disclaimer

• Non-Affiliation: Vintage Knows Best is an independent reseller of authentic luxury goods. We are not affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by any of the brands we sell. All trademarks and copyrights remain the property of the respective brand owners.

6. Faulty Items

• In accordance with consumer guidelines, claims cannot be made for damage caused by the buyer after receipt, or for minor wear and tear typical of vintage luxury goods that was disclosed in the original listing. Damages to items post sale will not be accepted.
